Chelsea House Pool & Gardens is an historic guest inn that is centrally located in the Old Town area of Key West. Just two blocks from Duval Street, you can walk to Key West’s best restaurants, nightlife, and attractions. This former estate property includes two grand Victorian mansions dating from 1888 and 1906 that stand on an acre of tropical gardens.
Within the expansive grounds there is a large heated pool and many comfortable lounging areas.
Whether you seek sun, solitude, or a gathering spot for friends, Chelsea House offers a perfect spot for your Key West vacation. Continental breakfast is included with all guest stays. Convenient and free parking is available on-site.
Accommodations are tailored to couples and most rooms provide one guest bed. Rooms and Suites are available that offer you a range of amenities and rates. All guestrooms provide a private bath with shower, cable TV, telephone, and air conditioning. Free, wireless internet access is available in the courtyard. The hotel is AAA approved with three diamonds.

Reservation Deposits
For most bookings, a deposit of one night’s room charge with tax, is required at booking. Cancellations can be made up to 7 days before arrival, without penalty. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will forfeit the reservation deposit.
During Fantasy Fest and New Years Eve, reservation policies are more restrictive. Reservations for these dates require full prepayment upon booking. Cancellations must be made 30 days in advance of arrival in order to receive a deposit refund.
Check-In / Check-Out
Reception desk hours for check-in are between 3pm and 10pm. Check-out is before 11am. Late arrivals can be accommodated by calling ahead on your arrival date before 10pm.

Non-Smoking
For the comfort of all guests, and the preservation of our historic buildings, all guestrooms are non-smoking. We do require strict compliance with our smoking policy in all rooms and interior spaces. Guests are welcome to smoke on porches, patios, and outdoor areas. Ashtrays are placed in those areas for convenience.
Families
Merlin Guesthouse and Budget Key West offer the best assortment of rooms that can accommodate more than two persons, including families. Cribs can be provided with advance arrangement; however, roll-away beds are not available. Be sure to note the existing bedding arrangement in rooms when booking.
Couples
Chelsea House, Albury Court, Lighthouse Court, and Key Lime Inn offer mostly rooms with one bed, and are best suited to couples. We cannot provide roll-away beds or other additional bedding to accommodate additional persons. Chelsea House offers a clothing-optional
sun-deck, which is separate and private from other guest areas, where children are not permitted.
Pets
Chelsea House accepts pets in certain guestrooms with advance arrangement. Please call the hotel direct for information and availability for pet-friendly rooms.
