Lookout Lodge Resort is designed to be your home in Islamorada while in the upper Florida Keys resort area. Pet friendly 1 & 2 bedroom suites with beach front sunset views are our specialty. Our resort offers private swimming & sunbathing areas (no pool), with its chickee huts, lounges and lagoon. We afford swimmers, sunbathers and kayakers quiet pleasurable hours in the Florida island sun. For scuba divers and snorkelers: beautiful scuba diving, snorkeling, and Lobstering in ocean reefs are just minutes away! Nearby charter boats offer diving, Lobstering, deep sea fishing, back country fishing, & reef fishing for your non-diving companions.
Charter boats will pick you up at our upper Keys dockage. Maybe a leisurely boat tour or a wedding cruise of the upper Florida Keys is more your pace. We custom design island weddings on our Islamorada beach.
Driving Directions to Lookout Lodge
From Ft. Lauderdale Airport (Recommended): Take 595 West to Florida Turnpike:
From Miami Airport: Take Route 836 West to Florida Turnpike:
Then From Florida Turnpike: Go South on Florida Turnpike to Florida City.
From Florida City take Route 1 South to Islamorada Mile Marker 88 on the right.
Total drive time from Miami is about 1 1/2 hours.
From Ft. Lauderdale about 2 hours.
(A car is needed in the Upper Keys as everything is pretty spread out.)
Directions from Marathon or Key West Airports: Take US 1 North to MM 88 on the left. Drive times approx. 45 min from Marathon, 2 hours from Key West.
Boating Directions to Lookout Lodge
From the North: Follow the intercoastal waterway past “Cross bank” thru “Cowpens Cut” past marker “78″ turn 210 degrees and look for a Pole marker keep to the right of the pole then turn 150 degrees and look for the our chickee huts.
From the south: Follow the intercoastal waterway to marker “78A”, turn 110 degrees and look for the our chickee huts.
For the pleasure of all of our guests, we limit the number of pets to a maximum of 3 (three) on the property at any time. The maximum in any accommodation is 2 (two) pets. Owners must control their pets, and must be on a leash. Walk them (off of the property) and not disturb the relaxing island atmosphere.
